This is a web exclusive; X-Lite will be offering a very limited number of handcrafted replicas of Fiat Yamaha rider, Jorge Lorenzo jewelled X-802 helmet that he wore when he was crowned at the 2010 MotoGP World Championship on November 7, 2010.
The Lorenzo Valencia is finished in eight layers of paint, and the lustrous finish is produced by the careful impregnation of gold pigment, while the Porfuera symbol on the top is highlighted by close to 1800 hand-laid Swarovski crystals, identical to Lorenzo?s original.
The jeweled Lorenzo Valencia helmet is priced at around $13,250, and takes 96 hours to complete. A deposit of $2,700 is required for each commission, and lead time is expected to be around two months. Sizes available are XS-XXL.
